Your Burnout Recovery Roadmap
Start getting your life back!
Are you an overwhelmed and exhausted doctor, nurse or allied health professional?
So many healthcare professionals are struggling right now. The demands of the job can be relentless, and work environments can be draining, dehumanising and sometimes deeply wounding. This can leave us exhausted, burned out and unable to engage in the things that really matter to us.
Perhaps you know you’re struggling but you’re not sure exactly what’s wrong or what to do about it?
Maybe you feel overwhelmed by all the advice and support options out there and need to know what’s right for you?
Or perhaps you want to know whether what you're going through is "that bad", without having to talk to anyone at work about it?
Burnout rates amongst NHS staff are at an all time high. And while the causes are systemic, the impact is very personal – as is the way through.
The Burnout Recovery Roadmap will help you understand your burnout profile, the specific areas of work that are causing this, and the routes you can take to recover and reconnect with the life you want, in and out of work.
The personalised Burnout Recovery Roadmap will give you the data and tools you need to access the right resources and support– so you can start getting your life back.
The personalised Burnout Recovery Roadmap costs £150

How does it work?
Step 1
We begin by having a 15-minute online call to outline your current struggles and working context.
Step 2
I put together an assessment package tailored to you, using the most robust psychological measures available. This is sent electronically for you to complete online in your own time.
Step 3
I will then analyse your responses and compile your roadmap for you within 5 working days.
Step 4
You have all the information and resources you need to take the next steps in your recovery. This may include recommendations for self-help strategies as well as sign-posting to sources of support that will meet your needs.
What’s included in the Roadmap report?
Your assessment results and what they mean
Suggestions of evidence-based psychological strategies tailored to your needs with resources to help you put them into practice right away
Recommendations for next steps (e.g. self-help, coaching or therapy)
Signposting to relevant sources of support (including both funded and fee-paying options)
About Me
I’m a Clinical Psychologist with 17 years’ experience working in the NHS. I know what it’s like to work under relentless pressure with dwindling resources. I know the toll it can take on our wellbeing and our ability to connect with what brings us joy in life.
My current work is focussed on supporting health professionals through burnout and work-related trauma. I have worked with doctors, nurses, senior managers and AHPs from a broad range of specialities and working contexts.
My aim is to provide you with the best psychological advice and resources so that you can make well-informed decisions about what support is right for you – and start getting your life back.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it confidential?
Absolutely. Any information you share with me is held in the strictest confidence, in line with my professional and ethical responsibilities. Although I will ask some questions about your working context I don’t need to know where you work.
What kind of assessments are included?
Following an initial call I will select an assessment battery based on the things you are struggling with and your current context. This is likely to include the Maslach Burnout Inventory, and Areas of Work Survey (as these are the gold-standard assessments in this field). I will also include mental health measures relevant to the problems you describe.
How long will it take me to complete the online questionnaires?
The questionnaires take most people 20-30 minutes to complete. They can be completed one at a time if you need to take breaks.
What if I’m not a health professional?
You are welcome to take the assessment if you work in a different sector, as I will tailor it to be relevant to your context. I will still be able to provide advice and recommendations for resources and next steps. However, as my professional networks and expertise is focused on supporting health professionals I may only be able to offer signposting to generic sources of support, rather than those specific to your profession.
